How to find the best tractor trailer for you?

When choosing a trailer, many different details and options have to be weighed. Before making the final choice, you need to consider a number of features and think through what you expect from a trailer. It is a long-term investment, after all, and you want the tractor trailer to be durable and bring you maximum benefit for many years.
When choosing a trailer, first ask yourself the following questions
Which tractor will the trailer be used with (power, hitch type, brake type)?
What materials are mainly transported?
How long are the distances driven with the tractor trailer?
On what kind of ground is the trailer driven most?
How are loads loaded?
What are the maximum lifting heights of the existing machinery?
Are there special requirements for the tractor trailer, and if so, what are they (the height of the barn door it has to fit through, the ceiling height where the trailer tips)?

The decision should depend on the quality of the tractor trailer

If you want to make an investment for many years, it is important to find a strong and durable tractor trailer. Seems sensible, doesn't it? When making the final choice, even more details should be considered.
Where do the trailer's components come from? Are they well known and high quality, as with Palmse Trailer – ADR from Italy, BPW from Germany – or components from a relatively unknown manufacturer (which may be of unknown quality)?
What is the thickness of the body walls and floor? Cheaper ones are usually thinner and don't withstand impacts as well.
